Breaking the Pattern

The patterns were fun, but after a time I really wanted to see how different elements might play together and interact as a body. From this idea, I created Breaking the Pattern, which explores different symmetries (or asymmetry), as well as what happens in the paper as folded pieces clash with other folded pieces. Each piece is folded from one uncut sheet of elefantenhaut paper, without cuts.
